ZX-12 Big Bore Kit Title Update: "NO CASE SPLIT!"
It's been said that there's no substitue for cubic inches (or cc's!). You can now add those cc's to your ZX-12R with the Muzzys Billet Big Block without splitting the cases. The improved Muzzy billet block allows fitment onto the engine with only a top end change, no machining is required. This fully liquid cooled 87mm block is machined from billet and finished with tough nickel silicon carbide plated bores. Put it on top of a stock crank and you can have a 200+ hp 1317 (see dyno sheet), if you want to get into NHRA Pro Stock territory, open up the cases, add a 60mm stroked crank as used in the Muzzys 1375 kit and you've got a 1427cc monster motor. This cylinder kit comes complete with forged pistons, rings and gaskets. Compression (13:1 base) will vary with stroke and combustion chamber size. For "drag racing only" applications a "dry" non cooled version is also available.
